Make a pond
We've lost thousands of ponds from our countryside over the past century. That's bad news for nature as a pond can be home to hundreds of species, and provide food and drink for lots more.
A pond can be one of the most rewarding things you can do in your garden. Birds will come to bathe and drink, dragonflies and damselflies will buzz around and you could spot a frog or toad lurking.
You can also enjoy the intriguing variety of bugs which will turn up to live in your pond, from water boatmen to beetles to pond snails.
Let us know what you have done and what you are going to try. It will help us build a picture of a nation pulling together to give nature a home.
